Now take a look at what we’re seeking for this role: We’re looking for a developer to join our team and collaborate on a large-scale web product that combines backend architecture expertise with emerging AI skills and proficiency in multiple programming languages. Our system serves end users on the web and mobile devices and uses REST APIs (as both provider and consumer) for system integration. You’ll need to share what you learn and convince others of your decisions; Build applications to further integrate our ecosystems across all development stages — from concept and architecture, through coding and testing, continuous integration, to production deployment on our Kubernetes cluster; Be the guardian of quality and governance — here we have no DBAs, Ops engineers, or architects. Every developer holds full responsibility and autonomy to ensure the health and delivery of their systems; Participate in our community and share knowledge; propose innovative alternatives, always pursuing cutting-edge technology to address our business challenges; Other related duties. ### **Your Responsibilities Will Include:** * ️ Architecting and maintaining critical inventory and order management services; * Integrating AI solutions to optimize processes; * Solving complex concurrency, transaction, and data integrity issues; * Performing large-scale technical refactoring; * Proficiency with version control systems (we use Git); * Knowledge of Design Patterns, TDD, SOLID, Clean Code, and Clean Architecture; * Experience with job/queue systems such as Sidekiq, SQS, RabbitMQ, and Kafka; * Ensuring quality and maintenance of all code produced by you and your peers; * Continuously teaching and learning in a collaborative environment; * Working in multidisciplinary teams (Product Owner, UX, QA) with an agile mindset; * Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB); * Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-Service platforms, especially Amazon Web Services; * Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and asset organization; * Advanced understanding of the HTTP protocol, REST standard, and HATEOAS; * Building API servers and clients; * Familiarity with dynamic environments and/or startups; * Being communicative, proactive in internal discussions, and possessing excellent self-management skills; * Being someone who strives to improve daily, views challenges as great opportunities for growth and learning new things. ### **AI Skills (STRONG PREFERENCE)** **Required Experience:** * 3 years of experience; * **Practical use of LLMs** (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot); * Effective prompting for code generation; * AI-assisted code review; * Technical documentation using AI. **AI-Assisted Development** Using Claude/Codex for: * Semantic search in documentation; * Analysis of complex bugs; * Test generation; * Suggested refactoring; * Explanation of legacy code; * Critical evaluation of AI output; * Correcting generated code. ### **Desirable** **Embeddings and Vector Search** * Semantic search in documentation; * RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns. **Prompt Engineering** * Structure of effective prompts; * Few-shot learning; * Chain-of-thought prompting. **AI for Data Analysis** * Using AI to explore large datasets; * Identifying patterns in logs; * Anomaly detection patterns. ### **Experience in Other Languages (DESIRED)** In addition to Ruby, experience with: * Python — Go / Rust; * TypeScript / Node.js; * Shell Scripting (Bash).
