Job Summary: We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer to work on the development and maintenance of systems, proposing technological improvements and supporting the team. Key Highlights: 1. Growth in a welcoming environment with opportunities **What we are looking for?** **Main Responsibilities:** Define best development practices; Program, code, and test systems in the relevant language, transitioning between Front-End and Back-End development projects; Implement complex functionality; Propose technological enhancements to systems. Monitor adherence to system development best practices. Validate the existing test coverage in projects; Validate new application features; Monitor application system performance; Propose technological enhancements to systems; Anticipate opportunities and issues proactively, acting swiftly and effectively to develop preventive solutions; Support junior developers and contribute to project decision-making; Perform system maintenance, implementing necessary changes to meet user requirements; Develop assembly, debugging, and testing tasks for programs, performing maintenance on already-developed programs. **Requirements:** Solid experience in Ruby and Ruby on Rails development, working on production systems Experience building and maintaining scalable RESTful APIs, with focus on performance and resilience Experience with data modeling and relational database (SQL) optimization in high-volume scenarios Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve performance bottlenecks (queries, latency, throughput, etc.) Experience with automated testing (unit and integration tests), preferably using TDD practices Experience in CI/CD environments Experience with software engineering best practices (clean code, code review, API design) Knowledge of web application security (authentication, authorization, data protection) Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) **Nice-to-Have:** Experience with distributed architectures or microservices Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Experience with observability (logs, metrics, tracing) Knowledge of event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka) Experience in fintechs, insurtechs, or high-scale digital products **Work Location: Remote** **Why build your career at Meta?** We offer autonomy, clear goals, and a dynamic and challenging environment where professionals have the opportunity to interact with diverse technologies, participate in all types of projects, bring new ideas, and work from anywhere in Brazil—and why not, the world.
