Performance optimization in low-end environments As an Expert Tech Leader, you will be expected to possess deep technical and analytical understanding of what has already been implemented in the project. You will serve as the team’s technical reference and must exercise leadership influence. You will primarily be tasked with supporting more junior developers; therefore, commitment to innovation and continuous learning within the Android ecosystem is essential for your career level. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Serve as the team’s technical reference, providing support and guidance to more junior developers; * Conduct in-depth technical analyses of what has already been implemented in the project; * Exercise leadership influence within the team, guiding best practices and technical decisions; * Contribute to continuous innovation and knowledge acquisition within the Android ecosystem; * Apply strong expertise in vanilla JavaScript, ensuring full mastery of the language in its pure form; * Apply advanced knowledge of event loop, garbage collection, and memory leaks; * Perform DOM manipulation in constrained environments; * Account for real hardware limitations, such as reduced CPU and memory capacity, as well as older browsers; * Promote performance optimization in low-end environments; * Work with microservices architecture and distributed systems; * Interact with REST APIs and synchronous and asynchronous communication; * Use message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar; * Apply concepts of idempotency, retry with backoff, and circuit breaker; * Ensure observability through logs, metrics, and tracing. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Strong experience with vanilla JavaScript; * Deep expertise in pure JavaScript, without excessive reliance on frameworks; * Solid understanding of event loop, garbage collection, and memory leaks; * Experience with DOM manipulation in constrained environments; * Knowledge of hardware limitations, including limited CPU, reduced memory, and support for older browsers; * Hands-on experience optimizing performance for low-end devices; * Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems; * Knowledge of REST APIs, synchronous and asynchronous communication; * Experience with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalents; * Understanding of idempotency, retry mechanisms, backoff strategies, and circuit breaker; * Familiarity with observability practices, including logs, metrics, and tracing.
