In addition to maintaining legacy systems, the area focuses on optimizing routines, improving performance, ensuring data integrity, and supporting technological modernization initiatives, thereby contributing to the continuity and efficiency of corporate processes. **Your Mission** Ensure the stability, maintenance, and evolution of FoxPro-developed systems, guaranteeing the efficient operation of applications supporting essential business processes. The professional will be responsible for implementing improvements, corrections, and integrations in existing systems, contributing to operational continuity, information quality, and support for departmental demands across the company. **Responsibilities and Duties** **What will be your responsibilities?** * "Hardcore" SQL Server expertise: Deep professional experience in writing and optimizing Triggers, Stored Procedures, Functions, and, critically, Query Tuning for high-volume environments * Visual FoxPro expertise: Extensive background in VFP system development and maintenance * ERP Solution Architect: Minimum 4+ years’ experience customizing or building ERPs, with deep understanding of the pain points and workflows inherent to this type of software * Engineering mindset: Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, DLL creation/consumption, and integration via APIs/WebServices * Technical resilience to handle legacy systems and modernization efforts * Analytical capability to understand complex business rules * Proactivity in proposing performance improvements **Technical Knowledge** * Extensive SQL language experience: triggers, stored procedures, functions, and query tuning. * Advanced FoxPro programming experience * Minimum 4+ years’ experience as a programmer customizing/building ERPs * Object-Oriented Programming knowledge * DLL creation and usage * API and WebService consumption knowledge * Object-Oriented Programming knowledge **Nice-to-Haves:** * Linx ERP knowledge * AWS knowledge * Programming in languages such as JavaScript and C# * Clean code architecture knowledge * Financial and tax knowledge **Requirements and Qualifications** **Profile We Are Seeking** We seek a specialist-level developer capable of bridging legacy expertise (Visual FoxPro) with modern coding standards.
