**Your challenge at Jus:**
At Jus, you’ll have the opportunity to work on products impacting millions of people—combining technical excellence with real-world scalability challenges. We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just write high-quality code, but also influences architectural decisions, enables teams, and contributes to the broader evolution of engineering.
For this challenge, we seek a **Senior Fullstack Software Engineer**.
**What you’ll do:**
* Own end-to-end development—from solution design through production monitoring, including architecture and modeling—writing reusable, scalable code while balancing business trade-offs and seeking equilibrium between speed and technical sustainability;
* Review architecture, propose standards, and influence technical decisions affecting your team and adjacent squads—ensuring quality, scalability, and performance;
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, product, design, and domain experts) to translate complex problems into viable, sustainable solutions;
* Monitor and validate performance, identify bottlenecks, implement continuous deployment strategies supporting large-scale products, and document improvements for the team;
* Configure and evolve code quality, testing, and observability tools, ensuring consistent engineering standards;
Serve as a technical reference for the team—supporting peers in code reviews and discussions, helping raise the collective quality of deliverables.
**Who we’re looking for:**
* **Strong experience in frontend web development with React and Next.js**, including best practices for performance, accessibility, and large-scale code maintenance;
* **Strong experience in backend web development**, focused on building services and APIs, asynchronous solution modeling, and event-driven architectures;
* Experience operating broadly across the full software development lifecycle;
* Experience with frontend testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end), ensuring quality and reliability regardless of tooling;
* Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including fundamentals of modeling and query optimization across diverse contexts;
* Practical knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, Pub/Sub, SQS or equivalents), understanding queues, topics, asynchronous processing, and orchestration;
* Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure or similar), including container usage and orchestration within established ecosystems (Docker/Kubernetes);
* Proficiency in at least one modern programming language—Node.js, Go, Java/Scala, or Python—with openness to rapidly learning others used across the company’s ecosystem.
**Nice-to-haves:**
* Knowledge of GraphQL and BFF, ElasticSearch;
* Prior experience with multiple languages in large-scale environments;
* Direct involvement with the tech community and open-source projects.
