We are looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to work on digital products at various stages of maturity, helping evolve complex systems with pragmatism, autonomy, and product vision. If you enjoy navigating between legacy and modernization, investigating end-to-end problems, and building solutions with real impact, we want to meet you. ➡️ Your responsibilities At Matilha, development happens through close integration among technology, product, and operations. **➡️ Key responsibilities include:** Develop and maintain features in Node.js APIs. Work on frontend applications using React and Next.js. Fix, enhance, and sustain legacy systems and new architectures. Investigate end-to-end issues across frontend, backend, and databases. Support the evolution of business rules related to campaigns, participants, KPIs, and administrative workflows. Participate in incremental refactoring and technical debt reduction. Contribute to the gradual modernization of the tech stack. Support technical standardization across projects and squads. Work with dashboards, reports, data import/export, and administrative routines. Contribute to improvements in application reliability, organization, and maintainability. Collaborate with technical leadership, product, and operations to build viable and sustainable solutions. ➡️ Ideal candidate profile We seek a pragmatic, investigative candidate with a strong mid-level profile. Experience with Node.js. Experience with Express and/or NestJS. Experience with React. Knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL. Experience with ORMs such as Prisma, TypeORM, or similar. Knowledge of authentication, authorization, JWT, and refresh tokens. Ability to read, understand, and evolve legacy code. Strong autonomy in debugging and resolving technical issues. Ability to work integrally across frontend, backend, and databases. ➡️ Nice-to-have qualifications Experience with Next.js. Knowledge of multi\-tenant architecture. Experience with dashboards, administrative systems, or SaaS platforms. Experience with Excel, PDF, or report import/export. Experience with automated testing.
