Learn more about Fintalk: Our website LinkedIn #### **About the Challenge** As a Conversational AI Engineer, you will be responsible for building, automating, and investigating conversational journeys and AI integrations—with deep focus on stability, autonomy, and solution obsession. Your role will involve developing and connecting bots, APIs, workflows, and services—ensuring everything works. **Responsibilities** * Robustly and thoroughly document automation of integrations with external platforms (e.g., WhatsApp Business API via Meta) * Build and maintain workflows in Fintalk Studio using tools such as N8N, ensuring traceability and testing * Rigorously test solutions before production deployment * Document integrations and workflows in Notion, enabling smooth onboarding and maintenance **Required Technical Skills** * JavaScript – basic to intermediate reading, editing, and debugging * REST APIs – consumption, authentication, debugging, payload and error analysis * Experience with low\-code tools such as N8N (or similar) * Use of Datadog or another observability tool for logs and metrics * Structured logical reasoning: ability to break complex problems into smaller parts * Autonomy to test, investigate, and understand system behavior * Conversational agent platforms (e.g., Blip or similar for conversational workflow development) **We’re looking for people who…** * Are extremely curious and learn by doing * Get excited when investigating errors and understanding root causes of failures * Know how to ask for help when needed—but try to solve issues before escalating * Enjoy testing solutions, simulating failures, and ensuring everything works * Aren’t intimidated by technical problems, hairy bugs, or poorly documented systems * Love automating tasks currently performed manually **Nice-to-Haves** * Prior experience with tools such as Postman, Datadog, GitHub * Contributions to internal automation or back\-end projects **What You’ll Gain Here** * Exponential technical learning in AI (for real) * Freedom to build responsibly * Culture of autonomy, truth, and customer obsession * Access to AI tools: ChatGPT Plus, Devin, Cursor, Lovable, and Gemini * Health insurance (SulAmérica with co-payment) * Birthday day off * Work laptop * Study incentives **Work Location:** Hybrid model in São Paulo \- SP, Pinheiros.
