For more information about the company: https://www.iav.com/BR\_pt **About the opportunity:** Component testing is a crucial stage in system development, focusing on evaluating individual hardware and software components to ensure their functionality and safety. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate directly with our colleagues at the German headquarters, participating in essential activities to guarantee the quality and safety of ADAS systems. Your routine will involve test preparation and automation, component performance monitoring, fault identification and reporting, as well as verification of implemented solutions. You will also work with bench/HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) simulations, contributing to the development of ADAS modules. This phase is critical for testing component interactions within a controlled environment, enabling adjustments and improvements prior to final vehicle integration. **Responsibilities and duties** * Conduct ADAS module testing and simulations on benches/HiLs during the development phase. * Prepare, automate, and execute tests, report faults, and verify solutions for identified issues. * Implement test cases based on requirements and continuously advance test automation. * Use tools to code test systems, capture diagnostic traces, and simulate operational states. **Requirements and qualifications** **Required qualifications** * Completed or near-completion bachelor’s degree in: Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Electronics Technology, or related fields * Advanced English proficiency * Experience in the automotive industry with diagnostic tools (CANoe/CANalyzer, CANape, ECU-Test) * Soft skills: Logical reasoning, analytical and organizational ability, proactivity, and teamwork **Preferred qualifications** * Experience in automotive product development and/or knowledge of electronic modules and automotive electronics * Experience in ADAS/ECU system testing * Knowledge of automotive communication protocols * Programming knowledge in Python, C++, Vector CAPL * Knowledge of Matlab / Simulink * ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level / Test Analyst certification * Basic or intermediate German language proficiency **Additional information** **What IAV offers** * CLT employment contract * Flexible working hours * Meal or food allowance * Fuel allowance or transportation voucher * Profit-sharing program (PLR) * Training incentives: languages and specializations * Life, health, and dental insurance * Partnerships with universities and language schools **The Company**: IAV is one of the world’s leading engineering service providers for the automotive industry.
