Job Summary: We are looking for someone to build bridges between technology and operations, transforming operational pain points into automated, scalable workflows at an innovative healthtech. Key Highlights: 1. Build automations using low-code/no-code tools. 2. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams. 3. Learn and grow within one of the most innovative healthtechs in Latin America. **About Alice** ----------------- We are a healthtech founded in 2019 with the mission of making the world healthier. In practice, this means working hard every day to build what an efficient and human-centered healthcare system should be. It’s not about applying technology to irrelevant or minor problems, but rather rethinking how technology should be used to generate more health and care for people. Health is among the greatest challenges of our generation: suboptimal experiences, low outcomes in health generation, and exponentially rising costs. Alice represents a new chapter in health insurance, implementing a coordinated and continuous care approach through proprietary methodologies and technologies designed with the Member at the center of all decisions. **Official Website:** https://alice.com.br/ **Official Blog:** **https://alice.com.br/blog/** At Alice, technology and operations walk hand-in-hand to make the world healthier. We need someone who can build bridges between these two worlds: someone who understands the pain points of operations and knows how to translate them into automated, rapidly built, and easily maintainable workflows — always in partnership with Engineering to ensure security and scalability. If you possess sharp curiosity, enjoy solving practical problems, and want to learn by doing at one of the most innovative healthtechs in Latin America, this role is for you. ### **About the Engineering Team at Alice** Joining Alice’s Engineering team means taking responsibility—and having the opportunity—to be part of a collaborative team that pursues technical excellence without losing sight of the real purpose behind every line of code we write. It also means working closely with Business and Product teams, tackling many initiatives already well-defined and others still at ground zero. Additionally, you’ll help shape engineering culture. We believe every person joining the team brings unique learnings, and together we evolve our culture daily toward something better. We focus on quality and diligent decision-making. While striving to improve and reinvent ourselves daily, we remain a team grounded in consistent, rational decisions—and a culture of documenting those decisions. ### **What You’ll Do** * Map operational processes and identify automation opportunities in collaboration with Business and Operations teams; * Build, test, and maintain automations using low\-code/no\-code tools such as n8n, Zapier, Retool, Airtable, or similar; * Document workflows, decisions, and best practices to ensure the long-term sustainability of automations; * Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to prioritize and deliver high-impact solutions; * Monitor automations in production, identify failures, and ensure process continuity; * Propose continuous improvements to automations based on usage data, operational metrics, and feedback from internal users. ### **What Makes You a Strong Candidate** * Practical experience (even in personal or academic projects) with at least one low\-code/no\-code tool; * Genuine curiosity about automation and process improvement: you get excited when you see a manual process; * Ability to understand a business pain point and translate it into a simple technical solution; * Basic familiarity with REST APIs (what an endpoint is, what JSON is, how to make a request, webhooks, etc); * Strong communication skills: you know how to ask questions, document your work, and explain what you’ve built; * Proactivity and eagerness to learn quickly in a dynamic environment; * Knowledge of programming logic or simple scripting (JavaScript, Python); * Interest in healthcare and in the impact technology can have on people’s lives. ### **What You’ll Learn Here** * Working with APIs of real-world products, understanding how different systems connect and exchange data. * Building automations deployed in production and used daily by Operations and Customer Support teams; * Understanding how operational processes function within a healthtech—and how technology can simplify them; * Learning how to translate business problems into simple technical solutions using low-code/no-code tools; * Collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to co-create solutions that directly impact Members’ experiences; * Developing best practices in documentation, monitoring, and maintenance of automations. ### **Nice-to-Haves (Not Required)** * Experience with SQL or basic data manipulation; * Experience in startup or technology company environments; * Prior experience in Operations, Customer Success, or Product teams; * Familiarity with process monitoring and observability tools.
