**Responsibilities and duties**
Plan and organize internships according to the practice setting
Guide students regarding internship activities, rules, and objectives
Monitor students’ performance in the practice setting
Maintain contact with the preceptor/supervisor from the host institution
Evaluate reports, activities, and students’ progress
Conduct technical visits (when necessary) to internship locations
Provide continuous feedback and guide performance improvements
Ensure compliance with required working hours and legal requirements
Promote integration between theory and professional practice
Uphold ethics, professional conduct, and interns’ responsibility
**Requirements and qualifications**
Nursing degree
Specialization is a plus
Professional and/or teaching experience
Strong communication, organizational, and mentoring skills
