Production Supervisor

Our commitment to responsible and sustainable development is a fundamental part of our DNA. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Your day-to-day will include:** * Supervise and control the execution of activities, action plans, and established processes defined by coordination or management levels. * Supervise, control, and monitor teams and activities related to the company’s production departments, including manufacturing methods and processes, aiming to achieve established production targets—characterized as medium- and low-complexity, or inherent to small- and medium-sized structures—or providing support and assistance to coordinators in monitoring and controlling teams and activities. * Supervise employees, results, and activities carried out within the area of responsibility. * Analyze the production schedule, specifications, production orders, and other relevant documents. * Plan production activities and organize available material and human resources. Set goals for the department and seek to increase employee motivation toward departmental tasks. * Request Service Orders from the Maintenance Department. * Monitor the production schedule, ensuring necessary resources and raw materials are available according to the weekly production mix. * Assume responsibility for decisions to interrupt production due to non-compliance with pre-established procedures regarding production, quality, safety, or environmental standards. * Conduct unplanned corrective maintenance activities. * Monitor raw material inventory. * Track and analyze performance indicators of the operational area and promote improvements based on results. * Discuss safety-related topics and hold formal monthly meetings with your team to share information. * Supervise workplace organization, hygiene, and cleanliness, conducting behavioral audits focused on safety. * Schedule team vacations; and perform other related and inherent duties of the position. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree; postgraduate studies/specialization preferred; * Minimum 5 years of experience in this field or in a similar role; * Familiarity with 5S tools; * Familiarity with Problem Analysis and Resolution tools; * Knowledge of operational performance indicators; * Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. **Additional Information** Since its inception, Guararapes has been living proof of the power of vision, determination, and commitment.
