We believe in harnessing the potential of waterways to move our resources and connect South America. **Ready to embark on this journey toward a better future with us?** We are seeking an **Operations Assistant** tasked with executing operational activities to meet defined logistical planning objectives, focusing on safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements. **Responsibilities and Duties** As an **Operations Assistant**, you will be responsible for: * Contributing to the review and development of procedures; * Complying with safety, quality, and environmental requirements per internal procedures; * Using elevated platforms during routine operations/cleaning when necessary; * Performing cleaning activities in confined spaces when necessary; * Conducting cleaning and condition checklists for trucks and railcars: inspecting the physical condition of railcars and verifying their readiness for loading/unloading operations; * Cleaning railcars prior to fertilizer loading; * Supervising road and rail loading to ensure scheduled cargo quantities (with support from front-end loaders and railcar loading hoppers); * Performing tarpaulin covering/uncovering of trucks; * Managing/organizing road traffic flow; * Covering stored products in storage cells; * Cleaning storage cells, warehouse surroundings, shipside areas, and terminal equipment; * Maintaining and preserving tools required to carry out assigned activities; * Assisting in inspections and monitoring equipment performance during vessel unloading (visual inspections of critical equipment systems and components); * Installing and removing wood chips in shipside areas, excluding onboard vessels; * Performing minor repairs, painting, and interventions on equipment and physical structures; * Proposing improvements to optimize and enhance safety during task execution; * Assisting during lifting and rigging activities (inspection of slings, shackles, steel cables, checklist completion); * Adhering to Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies and procedures. **Requirements and Qualifications** If you have: * Required: Completed High School education.
