If you enjoy real challenges, want to work with purpose, and wish to contribute to a more efficient and connected future for Brazil, your journey can begin here. **Join the movement. \#VemPraRumo** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Main Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain training, validation, and inference pipelines for models. * Structure feature and data pipelines supporting machine learning applications in production. * Transform models developed in exploratory environments into reproducible and scalable pipelines. * Integrate machine learning solutions into the organization's data ecosystem. * Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and DataOps teams on evolving the organization's machine learning platform and practices. * Work jointly with data scientists to operationalize analytical models. * Support the transition of models developed in exploratory environments into production pipelines. * Structure pipelines enabling recurrent training, updating, and evolution of models. * Ensure models can be executed at scale and with adequate performance for operational use. * Structure, prepare, and transform data required for model training and execution. * Develop data pipelines and feature engineering workflows tailored to machine learning applications. * Work jointly with data engineering to ensure availability and quality of data used by models. * Implement monitoring mechanisms for model performance, stability, and behavior in production. * Support identification of model degradation and the need for retraining. * Contribute to the continuous evolution of machine learning solutions in production. * Ensure software development best practices are applied to machine learning solutions. * Use code versioning, code reviews, and software engineering practices for ML pipeline development. * Contribute to standardizing and evolving the area's machine learning engineering practices. **Technical Requirements** * Experience developing Python applications for data and machine learning. * Experience structuring data pipelines and machine learning pipelines. * Experience manipulating and processing data using SQL and distributed environments (e.g., Spark). * Experience with code versioning and software engineering best practices (Git). * Experience operationalizing machine learning models in production environments. * Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., scikit\-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar). * Experience integrating analytical solutions with data pipelines or applications. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with machine learning platforms and ML pipelines (e.g., Kubeflow or similar). * Experience with experiment tracking and model registry tools (e.g., MLflow or similar). * Experience with feature stores or feature management for machine learning models. * Experience with cloud-based data environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). * Experience with monitoring and observability of ML pipelines and models. * Experience in large-scale data or operations environments. * Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP), especially related to data, machine learning, or solution architecture. **Additional Information** **Our Benefits Package** * Meal Allowance * Food Voucher * Transportation Voucher * Profit Sharing Program (PPR) * Railway Safety Bonus * Private Pension Plan * Credit Cooperative * Payroll-Deductible Loan * Wellhub * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Surgical Instrumentation * Pharmacy Assistance * Life Insurance * Funeral Assistance * Comprehensive Assistance Program from Pregnancy Through Postpartum * Extended Parental Leave * School Supplies * Daycare Assistance * Christmas Toy * Christmas Kit * Psychological, Legal, and Financial Assistance Program * Club of Benefits and Discounts * Corporate University **\#VemPraRumo** **About Rumo** We are Brazil's largest railway logistics operator, crossing the country from North to South across nearly 14,000 km of rail lines — a distance equivalent to traveling from São Paulo to Australia.
