Your responsibilities will span from engaging with and training new suppliers, configuring logistics parameters in systems, to monitoring parts delivery at the plant. You will collaborate closely with multiple departments: logistics and manufacturing engineering, technology, procurement, Customs, Transportation, and global teams. **What you will do?** * Ensure implementation of new parts and suppliers—from the sourcing process with GTP (Procurement) through to production launch; * Analyze and ensure definition of optimal logistics flows and logistics parameters together with suppliers; * Participate in cross-functional Product Development Project meetings; * Ensure parts availability at point-of-use for Trucks, Buses, Powertrain, and Cabins projects; * Monitor scheduling and delivery of imported and local supplier parts; * Maintain daily contact with suppliers and overseas logistics terminals to ensure deliveries comply with EDI requirements; * Maintain updated logistics parameters in the system (lead time, MRP, EDI); * Update logistics preparation-level schedules within product development projects; * Analyze root causes of process deviations and implement corrective solutions; * Promote continuous improvement of processes. **Who are you?** ---------------- **To succeed in this role, you must meet the following essential requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree completed, preferably in Administration, International Trade, or Engineering; * Advanced English proficiency; * MS\-Office (advanced Excel), PowerBI, and Power Automate (desirable); * Experience in global supply chain processes, supplier relationship management, and procurement; * Project management experience is a plus. **We are looking for someone who has:** * Strong organizational skills, time management, prioritization ability, and ownership mindset; * Clear and concise verbal and written communication; * Proactivity; * Ability to build effective relationships with cross-functional teams; * Holistic perspective; * Innovation mindset, digital fluency, and focus on continuous improvement. **This selection process is conducted with the support of A Priori consulting firm** ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- At Volvo do Brasil, we value candidates’ experience and partner with certified vendors to ensure a professional, values-aligned selection process.
