Job Summary: Responsible for customer prospecting, needs assessment, and development of aligned solutions, with a focus on logistics operations. Key Highlights: 1. Technical and commercial negotiation Responsible for prospecting new customers, understanding customer needs, and—supported internally—developing solutions aligned with customer requirements, preparing quotations, and finalizing contract signings. Bachelor's degree preferred (formal education). Experience required in logistics operations, including first mile, middle mile, last mile, transportation, warehousing, and cross-docking. "Who has never stepped into operations cannot sell solutions; they only sell rhetoric." Understanding of B2B/B2C sales, long sales cycles, multiple decision-makers, and simultaneous technical and commercial negotiation. Structured proposals: RFP, RFQ, BID; comparative cost analysis and SLA evaluation. Logistics costs: freight, kilometers driven, volumetric weight, chargeable weight, fuel, tolls, idle time, fixed vs. variable costs. KPIs: SLA, OTIF, lead time, cost per order, cost per delivery, fill rate. Solution modeling: logistics network design, route planning, service level vs. cost trade-offs. Contracts and SLAs: penalties, triggers, price adjustments, minimum volumes, operational risks. Basic financial knowledge: margin, simplified income statement (DRE), impact of contracts on operational results.
