We are looking for a talent to assume the role of Distributed Generation Studies Engineer. **Let’s together transform collaboration into results?** **Responsibilities and Duties** **In this position, you will work at the EQTL GO \- Goiânia unit**, and be responsible for distributed generation interconnection analyses. You will conduct high-, medium-, and low-voltage electrical studies using specific computer software simulations of the distribution system; propose solutions for connecting new generators, applying the global minimum cost methodology; issue technical opinions—including reverse power flow analysis—as well as handle customer complaints, ombudsman matters, and judicial proceedings related to GD customers. Below are some of the challenges you’ll face daily: * Interact with the National Electric System Operator (ONS) when required, to assess impacts on the transmission system caused by connecting new generators to the distribution network; * Issue technical opinions for mini- and microgeneration—including reverse power flow—complying with ANEEL Resolution No. 1000 and CREA requirements; * Design and defend, before the Investment Tower, the triennial CAPEX plan for executing connection works for GD customers; * Participate in establishing and refining criteria, techniques, and methodologies for interconnection studies of new generators to the grid; * Monitor technological developments related to GDs, pursuing innovation in solutions and modernization of the electric system to address increasing GD interconnection requests; * Issue DAL documents for self-producers interested in participating in auctions—including cases involving the new BESS technology; * Monitor and propose solutions for GDIS impacts on electric systems (number of occurrences, voltage levels, need for reinforcement works, and compliance with Annex IV). **Requirements and Qualifications** For this opportunity, we expect the following from you: * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; * Active CREA registration; * Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency; * Knowledge of load flow analysis; * Familiarity with Interplan, Anarede, and OpenDSS is desirable; * Experience in planning expansion works for electric systems is desirable; * Experience in distributed generation projects is desirable; * Knowledge of ANEEL regulation is desirable. **Additional Information** **Why apply:** By joining Grupo Equatorial, you become part of a growing company whose culture values continuous development, diversity of talents, and commitment to the future.
