Job Description We are seeking a responsible, agile, and committed Kitchen Assistant to work in a dynamic environment with high customer traffic. This role demands attention to detail, accuracy, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure prompt and courteous service and sales. Responsibilities * **Assist in food preparation** as directed by the cook. * **Set up the service area** (*mise en place*), including arranging plates, glasses/wine glasses, cutlery, napkins, and other items on tables, counters, or service trolleys. * **Manage the flow of dishes** between the kitchen and tables, ensuring correct service sequence. * **Clear tables**, collecting serving platters, plates, cutlery, and empty containers. * **Clean and cut ingredients** for recipes; organize utensils and maintain kitchen cleanliness. * **Keep the dining area stocked**, requesting restocking of supplies as needed. Essential Requirements * **Basic food handling knowledge** * **Minimum proven experience** in this role; * **Agility and accuracy**; * **Ability to work under pressure**, with focus on food quality. * **Availability to work on weekends** and holidays.
