You will contribute to evolving critical applications and services, supporting initiatives focused on scalability, performance, observability, and adoption of modern cloud-native architectures. **Your responsibilities will include:** * Developing and evolving **applications and microservices using Java and Spring Framework**; * Driving the **modernization of critical systems**, contributing to technical decisions and architectural evolution of solutions; * Designing and integrating **APIs**, ensuring **scalability, security, and high availability**; * Building solutions in **cloud environments**, applying best practices for **observability, monitoring, and performance**; * Participating in **code reviews, automated testing, and software quality initiatives**; * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into efficient technical solutions; * Contributing to the **continuous evolution of systems**, identifying opportunities for improvement in architecture, processes, and development. **What you need:** * Solid experience with **Java 17\+ and Spring Framework**; * Hands-on experience developing **microservices and REST APIs**; * Knowledge of **cloud architectures**, preferably **AWS**; * Experience with **Docker and Kubernetes**; * Proficiency in **relational and non-relational databases**; * Experience with **automated testing**, using JUnit and Mockito; * Familiarity with **CI/CD pipelines** (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins); * Knowledge of **application monitoring and observability**, using tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Kibana, or Dynatrace; * Experience with **Git** and version control best practices; * Experience working in agile environments using Scrum or Kanban. **Nice-to-have qualifications:** * Experience with **event-driven architectures**, messaging, and queues; * Experience in **high-scale and high-availability environments**; * Knowledge of **application and API security**; * Experience with **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)**; * Experience with **SRE and reliability engineering practices**; * Certifications related to **AWS, Kubernetes, or Java**; * Experience in **legacy system modernization and transformation initiatives**.
