Job Summary: The Process Specialist is responsible for supporting Manufacturing, leading technical problem resolution, promoting process improvements, and developing processes for new products. Develop technical know-how in ammunition products and processes **PROCESS SPECIALIST** *The Process Specialist's mission is to support Manufacturing in executing the technical documentation required to produce items in compliance with established requirements; lead resolution of technical issues related to the manufacturing process; promote process and tooling life improvements; and develop processes/tooling for new products and new equipment.* **Responsibilities and Duties** **Product Development and Improvement** * Study improvements for existing products and develop new products. * Monitor product and improvement validation tests. * Define approval criteria for prototypes and expected standards, analyzing technical documentation and guiding approval or rejection decisions. * Develop technical know\-how in ammunition-related products and processes **Production Lines and Layout** * Develop complete production line projects aligned with capacity and cost assumptions. * Simulate factory layouts according to Lean Manufacturing principles. * Design efficient, safe, and economically viable production lines **Machines, Equipment, and Suppliers** * Specify machines and equipment, drafting technical procurement specifications. * Manage procurement processes for domestic and international machines and equipment—including complete production lines, ballistic equipment, and armaments. * Validate acquired machines and equipment, monitoring their installation and commissioning. * Develop and validate suppliers of components, machines, and equipment. **Process Management and Continuous Improvement** * Study and implement improvements in production processes to reduce cycle times and costs. * Prepare, review, and optimize manufacturing processes. * Simulate forming processes, evaluating feasibility and efficiency. * Implement solutions that enhance the area's competitiveness. * Promote and conduct problem-solving activities for processes and products. * Apply Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies. **Technical Documentation** * Develop tooling and quality control gauge designs. * Execute, review, and modify 2D and 3D CAD files. * Draft and review technical documentation per departmental guidelines. * Prepare technical specifications for machines and equipment. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Minimum Education:** Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering **Preferred Education:** Postgraduate degree/MBA in Project Management or Innovation **Desired Competencies:** Advanced English (technical reading, writing, and speaking); Intermediate Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project); 2D/3D CAD software – SolidEdge (or similar: SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD); Mechanical technical drawing – reading, interpretation, and project development; Knowledge of metal stamping and mechanical forming of metallic alloys; Knowledge of industrial automation; Heat treatment of metallic alloys (especially steel); Forming process simulation (Forge, Abaqus, Ansys, Simulfact or similar); Project management – tools and methodologies (MS Project, Primavera or equivalent); Quality tools – FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa, control plans; Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement – Kaizen, Six Sigma; Procurement and validation of domestic and international machines and equipment; Technical documentation – reports, work instructions, and specifications; Willingness to travel internationally. **Behavioral Competencies:** Analytical and critical thinking; Effective communication; Interpersonal relationship skills; Emotional intelligence; Teamwork and collaboration; Negotiation ability; Time and priority management; Resilience and adaptability; Results orientation; Proactivity and initiative; Innovative and creative thinking; Discipline and attendance; Organization and systematic approach; Attention to detail; **Reside near the ABCDMR region** **Additional Information** **Benefits:** **For You and Your Family:** Christmas bonus; extended maternity leave; paternity leave; Daycare or Nanny Assistance for mothers; Christmas gift for employees' children up to age 10; School Kit (for employees and students up to 9th grade); partnership with SESI (Leisure) and SENAI; Profit-sharing program (PPR) and company anniversary recognition. **Health and Well\-being:** Intermédica NotreDame health insurance; Dental Plus dental insurance; pharmacy benefit; on-site clinic. **Work Model:** 100% on-site. **Meals:** On-site cafeteria; meal allowance **Mobility:** Commuter bus (per route schedule); parking; bicycle parking. **Conveniences:** Partnership with educational institutions (undergraduate, postgraduate, MBA, and elementary education for children), language schools; Bradesco bank branch inside the facility and digital banking for payroll-deducted loans. **Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos (CBC)** is a Brazilian company built upon the pillars of solidity, innovation, and customer focus.
