Job Summary: Systems and applications development professional, focused on implementing new features and optimizing database-related processes. Key Highlights: 1. Develop and implement systems and applications 2. Participate in collaboration events and routines 3. Optimize and propose improvements for database processes * Develop and implement systems and applications to design and implement new features and resolve issues; * Participate in collaboration events and meetings related to the team to which the candidate is assigned; * Develop new programming code or review existing code to optimize and propose improvements for processes related to Chubb's databases. Requirements: Technical Requirements: * At least 8 years of experience in backend application development; * Solid knowledge and understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming), S.O.L.I.D, KISS, DRY, YAGNI, BDUF, SOC principles, and design pattern implementation; * Experience developing large-scale web applications using the Microsoft Stack (C\#, .NET Framework, .NET Core); * Advanced proficiency in developing REST APIs using .NET Core; * Experience with modern ORMs (Entity Framework, EF Core, Dapper); * Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC); * Experience writing unit and integration tests (NUnit, XUnit, MOQ); * Ability to design and implement Windows Services, Console Applications, and Web Applications; * Knowledge of application security, including information security principles based on OWASP TOP 10 vulnerabilities; * Experience with version control systems such as Git (preferably GitHub); * Desired: Experience with VB6 (Visual Basic 6\).
