Responsibilities and Duties: * Administer and provide support for a diverse database ecosystem (Cloud and On-Premise); * Solid experience in administering SQL Server, MySQL, CosmosDB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB Atlas databases (Oracle experience will be considered a plus); * Experience in environment monitoring (Zabbix, Grafana, and Datadog). * Experience with Azure and OCI cloud platforms. * SQL Server: Focus on Windows Server with FCI (Failover Cluster Instance) and Always On; * Ensure High Availability (HA): Implement and maintain solutions such as AlwaysOn, Clusters, and Replication; * MySQL and PostgreSQL: Focus on managed services (DBaaS) on Azure and some on-premise implementations; * Perform performance monitoring, query tuning, and continuous resource optimization. * Create, maintain, and test backup and restore/disaster recovery (DR) procedures. * Manage database security, permissions, and access roles. * Support development teams in testing environments, script deployment, and architectural design. * Automate operational routines and generate database health checks (Health Checks) reports. * Handle both incident support for critical environments and strategic projects; * Apply security patches and utilize techniques to comply with LGPD requirements (e.g., data masking). * Conduct training sessions, workshops, and documentation to disseminate knowledge; * Automate manual tasks (e.g., instance creation, database setup, routine execution), ensuring squad autonomy within established policies; * Create and optimize monitoring and alerting mechanisms to anticipate failures and incidents; * Plan and execute changes in mission-critical environments, both during and outside business hours; * Participate in rotating on-call shifts to support the team during critical incidents. Requirements and Qualifications: * Proficiency in administration, HA/DR configuration, and performance optimization for SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB (Oracle experience will be considered a plus); * Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Shell Script) to automate health check, maintenance, and reporting routines. * Ability to work in dynamic environments (simultaneous projects, multiple technologies); * Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; Differentiators: * Experience with distributed architectures and cloud-native applications; * Knowledge of databases on Oracle Cloud, including Oracle Autonomous Database; * Experience in FinOps applied to databases; * Experience in large-scale, high-availability environments; * Advanced knowledge of Oracle database administration (12c, 18c, 19c; 23ai is a plus); * Knowledge of databases on Oracle Cloud, including Oracle Autonomous Database; * Familiarity with data replication tools such as Oracle GoldenGate and Talend.
