FCamara is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to partner with a major company in the **Information Technology and Services** sector, with over 40 years in the market. You will join a high-performance team with autonomy and responsibility to design and evolve robust, scalable, and secure solutions. **Responsibilities and duties** * Develop and maintain **REST APIs** following best practices, using Java (versions 11 to 21\) and **Spring Boot**. * Create and maintain **SOAP clients**, and document APIs with **Swagger**. * Model and implement integrations with **Oracle and MySQL databases**. * Apply **TDD** and testing frameworks such as **JUnit**, **Mockito**, and others. * Define and implement an architecture based on **microservices**, applying patterns like **Circuit Breaker**, **API Gateway**, and **Backend for Frontend**. * Use **Claude Code** to generate, review, and document code, as well as create automated tests. * Follow **SOLID** principles, object-oriented development, and **DDD**. * Work with **multi\-threading** and performance optimization. * Implement messaging solutions using **Kafka** and **RabbitMQ**. * Collaborate with architects and other developers to ensure technical quality and consistency. * Participate in **CI/CD**, automation, and **DevOps** culture initiatives. **Requirements and qualifications** **Mandatory**: * Backend development experience (Java). * Proficiency in **Java 11 to 21** and **Spring Boot**. * Experience with REST APIs, Swagger, and SOAP consumption. * Solid knowledge of **Oracle** and **MySQL**. * Experience with **JUnit**, **Mockito**, and TDD practices. * Deep understanding of **DDD**, **OOP**, and microservices patterns. * Practical experience with **Claude Code** for development support (e.g., code generation, refactoring, explanation of complex code segments). * Experience with **multi\-threading** and parallel processing. * Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka and/or RabbitMQ). **Desirable**: * Experience with **AWS** (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.). * Familiarity with **containers** (Docker, Kubernetes). * Knowledge of web servers (Apache). * Experience with event-driven architecture. **Soft Skills:** * Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and squad culture. * Active participation in agile ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration. * **Ownership mindset** toward the product and proactive problem-solving. * Collaborative development (**Pair Programming**, **Extreme Programming**). * Culture focused on **automation**, CI/CD, and continuous improvement. **Additional information** **Here, we are \#OrangeBlood!** We have been in the market for 17 years, side by side with our clients, delivering transformative experiences.
