We operate in a collaborative environment with a strong engineering culture, data quality focus, and continuous improvement mindset. In this project, the professional will play a strategic role in migrating integrations, data pipelines, and data consumption processes currently running on AWS to the GCP ecosystem, ensuring operational continuity, reliability, and adherence to best practices in data engineering and machine learning. **Responsibilities** --------------------- * Lead the migration of data connections, pipelines, and consumption processes from AWS to GCP within the company's Data Science projects. * Adapt queries, integrations, and data processing routines to function properly in the GCP environment, accounting for differences between services and SQL dialects. * Perform functional testing, consistency validation, and data certification after migration processes. * Support the migration of analytical workloads and machine learning pipelines to equivalent services within the GCP ecosystem. * Collaborate closely with data engineering, architecture, and MLOps teams to ensure stability and efficiency of migrated solutions. * Identify and resolve impacts related to performance, compatibility, and governance during the cloud transition process. * Document technical processes, data flows, and architectural decisions related to the migration. * Contribute to improvements in standardization, automation, and quality across analytical pipelines and processes. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements** -------------- * Solid experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer in production environments. * Practical experience with cloud environments, especially AWS and GCP. * Advanced knowledge of SQL for query adaptation and optimization. * Experience with data manipulation and processing using Python. * Hands-on experience with data pipelines and integrations across different cloud services. * Experience with testing and validating data consistency in migration processes. * Knowledge of analytical and data services in AWS and GCP. * Ability to independently tackle complex technical problems. * Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. **Preferred Qualifications** --------------------------- * Prior experience in cloud provider migration projects. * Knowledge of BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, and related GCP services. * Experience with MLOps environments and automation of machine learning pipelines. * Familiarity with data orchestration tools and workflow management systems. * Experience with observability and monitoring practices for data pipelines. * Experience working in high-volume data environments and distributed systems. **Behavioral Profile** ------------------------- * Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail. * Ability to thrive in dynamic environments managing multiple technical initiatives simultaneously. * Strong communication, collaboration skills, and ease of interaction across departments and stakeholders. * Proactive attitude, ownership mindset, and focus on delivery quality and reliability. **Additional Information** **At our company, you’ll find a collaborative environment and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your growth, health, and quality of life.
