The Amazon Logistics Brazil (AMZL) team is seeking a Logistics Operations Leader to join our External Logistics Partners team. Operations will be conducted seven days per week, including holidays; therefore, working across different shifts will be part of this role. Will manage a team of external logistics partners, as well as lead a team of Amazon-employed logistics operations analysts, to ensure partner process performance and compliance. Will work in a highly collaborative environment that feels more like a start\-up than a large corporation. This person will be responsible for monitoring logistics partner performance and compliance, coordinating with internal and external teams. They will also support the launch of new logistics partners. The role requires someone highly willing to take ownership, skilled at identifying patterns and trends, and capable of examining details and analyzing data—delving deeply into root causes of operational issues and proposing solutions. Key job responsibilities Manage the Logistics Operations Analyst team; Serve as the primary point of contact and metric oversight for logistics partners responsible for delivery stations. Oversee training and continuous improvement initiatives for logistics partners; Develop and track operational metrics with logistics partners; Analyze data from multiple sources and identify relevant trends to enable rapid, impactful business decisions; Identify practical and simple solutions to complex problems; Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, keeping in mind objectives, constraints, compliance, and information privacy; Deeply investigate root causes of operational issues. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------------ * Bachelor's degree or equivalent * Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays * Speak, write, and read fluently in English * Experience in employee and performance management **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- * Experience with performance metrics and process improvement and Lean techniques Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
