The Amazon Logistics Brazil (AMZL) team is looking for a Logistics Operations Leader to join Amazon’s External Logistics Partners team. Operations will be conducted seven days per week, including holidays; therefore, working across various shifts will be part of this role. You will manage a team of external logistics partners, as well as lead a team of Amazon-employed logistics operations analysts, ensuring performance and compliance of these partners’ processes. You will work in a highly collaborative environment that feels more like a start\-up than a large corporation. This person will be responsible for monitoring the performance and compliance of logistics partners, coordinating with both internal and external teams. They will also support onboarding of new logistics partners. The role requires someone highly willing to take ownership, skilled at identifying patterns and trends, and capable of examining details and analyzing data—delving deeply into root causes of operational issues and proposing solutions. Key job responsibilities Manage the Logistics Operations Analyst team; Serve as the primary point of contact and metric-monitoring liaison for logistics partners responsible for delivery stations. Oversee training and continuous improvement initiatives for logistics partners; Develop and track operational metrics with logistics partners; Analyze data from multiple sources and identify relevant trends to enable rapid, business-critical decisions; Find practical and simple solutions to complex problems; Act as the bridge between internal and external stakeholders, keeping objectives, constraints, compliance, and information privacy in mind; Deeply investigate root causes of operational issues. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------------ * Bachelor's degree or equivalent * Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays * Speak, write, and read fluently in English * Experience in employee and performance management **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- * Experience with performance metrics and process improvement and Lean techniques Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
