**PURPOSE AND IMPACT OF THE ROLE**

The EHS Analyst will analyze environmental activities, support preparation for company audits, government inspections, and related processes and procedures. In this role, you will provide training to employees to ensure understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and to ensure compliance with environmental legislation.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Participate in planning, developing, and monitoring health and safety policies, procedures, and processes to ensure the health and safety management system functions properly.
* Monitor compliance with legislative requirements.
* Ensure adherence to current environmental legislation (federal, state, and municipal).
* Monitor conditions stipulated in environmental licenses and authorizations.
* Prepare technical reports and environmental documents (e.g., waste inventories, control reports, IBAMA/environmental agency reports).
* Collect and process data to assist in planning environmental management strategies and ensuring compliance with legislation.
* Support the development of regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions regarding organizational safety response strategies and related topics.
* Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to the appropriate team.
**QUALIFICATIONS**

* Bachelor's degree in environmental-related fields
* Knowledge of environmental licenses and factory operations
* Preferred: familiarity with environmental legislation in Rio Grande do Sul (RS)
