In this Mid-level Digital Analytics \- role, you will join the Marketing Data team, whose mission is to ensure data reliability and drive insight-led marketing decisions. **Your day-to-day responsibilities will be structured around four core pillars:** **Tracking Engineering and Implementation** * Lead Implementations: Drive and oversee the full lifecycle of tracking projects, collaborating closely with Engineering and Technology teams. * Technical Translation: Act as a bridge between Marketing (Paid Media, CRM, SEO, etc.) and Technology, translating business objectives and KPIs into detailed technical requirements (measurement plan). * Data Layer and Tag Development: Design, implement, and validate the dataLayer, data collection scripts, and media pixels in Google Tag Manager (GTM), ensuring accurate capture of events and user interactions. **Data Analysis and Extraction** * Data Extraction and Interpretation: Use SQL in BigQuery to extract, organize, and interpret large volumes of data, identifying trends, optimization opportunities, and performance challenges. * KPI Measurement: Collaborate with internal teams to understand metric and KPI requirements (Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Revenue), ensuring they are correctly measured and reports reflect true business performance. **Data Governance and Quality** * Ensure Data Quality: Define, document, and implement Data Governance standards—including creation and maintenance of technical documentation (Measurement Plan / Metric Dictionary). * Auditing and QA: Establish auditing and Quality Assurance (QA) routines using debuggers and proxy tools to guarantee accuracy and integrity of collected data and reporting outputs. * Enable AI/ML: Continuously improve data reliability to build a solid foundation, enabling high-performance Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning models. **Project Management and Collaboration** * Agile Management: Organize, manage, and prioritize the tracking and data project backlog, applying Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). * Strategic Communication: Possess excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into clear guidance for marketing and technology stakeholders. * Collaborative Profile: Be proactive and act as a strategic partner to Business and Product teams, thriving in a dynamic environment. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What do you need?** * Bachelor’s degree completed in Marketing, Technology, Statistics, or related fields. * Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4\), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and strong understanding of data layer design. * Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery) and data modeling. * Ability to map the e-commerce funnel and measure customer lifecycle metrics. * Basic understanding of JavaScript applied to web tracking implementation. * Experience with Quality Assurance (QA) routines and technical documentation (Measurement Plan). * Intermediate knowledge of mobile app analytics tools (e.g., AppsFlyer, Adjust). * Curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning in analytics. * Collaboration and Proactivity: Highly collaborative profile, acting as a strategic partner to Business and Product teams, and proactively identifying analytical opportunities. **Nice-to-have:** * Basic Python knowledge for data analysis and automation. * Basic understanding of how Machine Learning models work (data-driven attribution, churn prediction). * Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and integration of paid media platforms (Meta Ads, TikTok, Google Ads) and CRM systems (Salesforce). * Familiarity with Agile methodology principles. **Additional Information** **More about OLX Group:** Since launching in Brazil in 2010, OLX Group’s purpose is to empower people to achieve their dreams by reinventing consumption models.
