The **Engineering** team needs someone—and we want you to join us! **Your mission?** Serve as a technical reference in evolving a strategic platform, ensuring its quality, scalability, and operational reliability. **Your day-to-day at Skeelo will look like this:** * Lead technical initiatives of medium complexity, serving as a reference for more junior developers and contributing to the team’s technical growth. * Develop and evolve services using Node.js, while building and maintaining REST and GraphQL APIs focused on quality, scalability, and performance. * Work within an event-driven distributed architecture, contributing to resilient, decoupled, and highly available systems. * Enhance service observability using metrics, logs, and traces to support decision-making and reduce incident resolution time. * Participate in code reviews, technical refinements, standard definition, and collaborate with Product, Mobile, and other teams—exploring automation and AI tools to boost productivity and efficiency. **To succeed in this role, you’ll need:** * Solid experience with Node.js and TypeScript, plus expertise in building REST and/or GraphQL APIs. * Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), messaging systems, event-driven architecture, Redis, and caching mechanisms. * Hands-on experience with automated testing, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, RabbitMQ, and software engineering best practices. * Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Kibana, Sentry, or similar. * Strong communication skills, ability to share knowledge, support team growth, and exert technical influence. **It would be great if you also had:** * Experience with Fastify, Docker, and Kubernetes. * Exposure to ElasticSearch/OpenSearch and high-volume, mission-critical platforms. * Experience with Server-Driven UI and BFFs. * Experience using AI tools in software development, such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar. **And the benefits?
