**Required Qualifications:**
* Completed high school;
* Vocational welding course;
* Experience in welding in any position, cutting and filling of equipment parts and components, plates, and repairs of installations and structures;
* Residency in Canaã dos Carajás\-PA;
**Desired Qualifications:**
* Technical education in electromechanics or related fields;
* Driver's license category B;
**Job Responsibilities and Activities:**
* Perform welding services in any position, cutting and filling of equipment parts and components, plates, and repairs of installations and structures;
* Perform welding using coated electrodes, additive and fusion welding, electrode cutting, and oxy\-acetylene cutting;
* Interpret drawings, standards, and work instructions;
* Perform special welding processes, such as MIG, MAG, TIG, metallizing/plasma, and submerged arc welding, adjusting equipment and materials for the type of service to ensure no fatigue/failure;
* Prepare parts for welding;
* Maintain welding machines and oxy-cutting equipment in proper working condition;
* Issue and close maintenance work orders;
* Conduct crack testing on metallic parts and weld inspections on structures, metallic bases, and pipe supports;
* Supervise and monitor contracted welding services;
* Operate auxiliary equipment and vehicles;
* Perform basic inspections on machinery and installations;
* Carry out cleaning and maintenance of facilities and equipment;
* Occasionally perform railway maintenance services (e.g., replacing sleepers, rails, AMV components, etc.);
* Perform aluminothermic rail welding;
* Assist in mechanical and boiler-making services during preventive and corrective maintenance;
* Prepare energized electrodes in lifting bays at reduction furnace installations; remove ring and coupling from the shell on an energized electrode at 800 volts and 23 kA; operate MIG/MAG welding and finishing with grinders;
* Operate auxiliary equipment when necessary, such as bench and portable drills, roll bending machines, guillotine shears, bending machines, hydraulic presses, sanders, stamping machines, grinders, band saws, pantograph machines, profile cutters, grinders, etc.;
* Operate/maneuver, when required: overhead cranes, scissor lifts, forklifts, motor vehicles;
* Assemble and disassemble portable scaffolding up to a maximum height of 4 m;
* Assist in assembling and disassembling parts and equipment.
* Update the computerized maintenance management system;
* Keep safety documentation, applicable procedures, authorizations, and certifications updated and aligned with the activity to be performed;
* Lockout and/or isolate criticality level 1 or A equipment/components listed in the local matrix presenting anomalies that compromise personnel safety. Activate the Help Chain to address the anomaly.
