Job Summary: Civil Engineer for diagnosis, design, and supervision of reinforcement and modernization of silo and bulk grain warehouse structures. Key Highlights: 1. Supervision of construction execution to ensure integrity and safety. ### **JOB DESCRIPTION** * Structural Diagnosis and Pathology: Conduct detailed technical inspections to identify pathological manifestations in silos (metal or concrete) and bulk grain warehouses, such as cracks, sheet metal corrosion, and foundation issues. * Reinforcement and Retrofit Design: Develop detailed construction designs to reinforce existing structures, enabling installation of higher-capacity new equipment (e.g., bucket elevators, drag conveyors, and modernized temperature monitoring systems). * Structural Calculation and Sizing: Size structural elements in steel and reinforced concrete, considering dynamic grain loads, wind forces, and machinery-induced vibrations, always in compliance with Brazilian technical standards (ABNT). * Modernization of Storage Systems: Design structural adaptations for new product flow layouts, including steel walkways, exhaust duct supports, and hopper modifications. * Technical Documentation Management: Prepare calculation reports, material technical specifications, and activity schedules for tenders and construction execution. * Construction Supervision and Monitoring: Supervise renovation works to ensure strict adherence to the structural design, safeguarding facility integrity and safety. ### **JOB REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering: Diploma officially recognized by the MEC. * CREA Registration: Active registration and good standing with the Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy. * Proven professional experience exceeding 5 years in the relevant field. * Structural Rehabilitation: Experience in diagnosing infiltration, corrosion, and reinforcing aging reinforced concrete and metallic structures. * National Technical Standards: Proficiency in NBR 6118 (Design of Concrete Structures), NBR 6120 (Loads for Structural Design), and NBR 15575 (Performance of Buildings). * Modernization Projects: Knowledge of product flow, grain receiving, and processing within storage facilities. * Engineering Software: Proficiency in structural analysis tools (e.g., TQS, Eberick, or SAP2000\) and AutoCAD. * Project Management: Ability to manage schedules and execute large-scale construction projects. ### **ADDITIONAL INFORMATION** **Contract Type:** PJ
