Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Backup Analyst to administer, monitor, and improve backup environments, ensuring data security and availability. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in mission-critical, complex, hybrid, and dynamic environments ### **About the Position** We are seeking a **Senior Backup Analyst** to manage, monitor, and continuously improve backup and data recovery environments, ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of the organization’s critical information. ### **Main Responsibilities** * Preventive and corrective actions (where applicable) across all critical infrastructure: Storages, Backup Library, Physical Servers. * Analysis and resolution of technical issues; * Analysis and recommendation of improvements for operational environments, as well as design/development of new environments; * Participation in troubleshooting and war\-room activities; * Root cause analysis; * Performance analysis and proposal of improvements or risk mitigation in the Backup environment; * Experience in mission-critical, complex, hybrid, and dynamic environments; * Experience in agile and traditional projects; * Monitoring execution of Backup Jobs in the environment; * Handling Backup Job failures and executing reprocessing; * Handling infrastructure incidents (tape library); providing technical support to clients and their respective environments. * Administration of operations, configuration, installation, and other activities related to used backup solutions: Commvault, NetBackup, TSM, Veeam, etc. * Ensuring end-to-end operation of the Backup and Restore process. * Performance analysis, promoting alignment between software and hardware. * Operation and monitoring of Datacenter resources. * Supporting Level 1 and Level 2 teams, while ensuring documentation and service routines remain up to date. * Ensuring critical updates and maintenance. * Executing Data Restore Jobs; * Planning and implementing changes within the scope of responsibility; * Resolving high-, medium-, and low-complexity incidents and requests related to backup infrastructure; * Performing routine activities in the backup environment to ensure optimal performance and availability; * Responding to crisis events (Critical Incidents); * Conducting root cause analysis; * Analyzing and proposing performance improvements or risk mitigation in the backup environment; ### **Technical Requirements** * Experience or certification in ITIL processes; * Experience in Datacenter environments; * Experience with operational backup / restore routines; * Experience with ITSM tools; * Experience with Incident, Change, and Request processes; * Experience with Commvault and Veeam backup tools; * Experience in installation and configuration of new ITIL Framework environments (Incidents and Changes); * Working with demand management tools (ITSM); * Completed Bachelor’s degree in IT. * Experience with Commvault and Veeam backup tools; * Experience with backup storage; * Experience in backup/restore of file systems, virtual machines, Oracle and SQL Server databases. * Knowledge of Storages * Knowledge of Backup Policies. * English proficiency for speaking, reading, and writing (Desirable). **What We Offer You?** * Meal or Food Allowance; * Medical and Dental Assistance; * Pharmacy Plan (discounts on medication purchases); * Life Insurance; * TIVIT Club (discounts and partnerships with top stores); * PAC \- Career Acceleration Program; * Certification Reimbursement; * MOBIFLIX – Our corporate academy offers both in-person and online courses aligned with the latest technology market trends; * Online consigned loan platform; TIVIT helps you achieve personal goals such as home/apartment renovation, financing studies, or paying off debts, according to company policies and regulations; * Personal Support Program offering psychological, financial, and legal counseling in partnership with Alelo.
