Accurately and effectively execute reservation closing procedures, ensuring efficient and precise service to maximize occupancy and customer satisfaction **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Process reservations via telephone, email, or online systems, providing customers with clear and accurate information. * Assist in room sales by providing general information to customers about hotel facilities and services, as well as negotiating rates based on pre\-established parameters. * Send reservation confirmations to customers. * Maintain up\-to\-date records of reservations and room availability. * Collaborate with the front office and sales teams to optimize hotel occupancy. * Respond to customer calls, providing general information and clarifications regarding the hotel and its rates, following pre\-established criteria and standards. * Effectively and courteously resolve inquiries and issues related to reservations. * Input customer reservation data into the system, sourced from the network’s Central Reservation Office and the events department. * Continuously monitor\/verify hotel availability, analyzing changes jointly with the Reservation Supervisor and\/or Reservation Assistant. * Prepare reports on reservation status and occupancy for management. * Assist in promoting and selling special packages or room upgrades to customers. * Ensure compliance with hotel policies and reservation procedures. * Contribute to improving reservation processes to increase efficiency. * Maintain confidentiality of customer information. * Organize and update the reservation document archive. * Participate in training sessions to enhance customer service skills and knowledge of reservation systems. * Perform other related duties as required by the department.
