Production and Construction Supervisor

Móveis Mota is hiring a Production and Construction Supervisor to work directly on the factory floor and oversee high-end carpentry construction projects. We are seeking a professional with hands-on carpentry experience who understands the production process, can read technical drawings, and possesses an organized, communicative, and solution-oriented mindset. This role requires active presence both at the factory and on construction sites, ensuring each project reaches the client with quality, on schedule, and without rework. ABOUT THE ROLE The Production and Construction Supervisor serves as the liaison among design, production, and construction sites. Their primary responsibility is to ensure all technical decisions are finalized before production begins, eliminate communication gaps, and protect the team’s workflow. You are not required to perform carpentry tasks yourself—but you must know precisely what is being produced, who is producing it, which stage each room or component is in, which construction site it belongs to, and the scheduled assembly date. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES \- Monitor and control the daily production schedule \- Serve as the interface between the factory, architects, and clients \- Ensure all technical specifications are resolved prior to cutting \- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks before they impact production \- Communicate project changes to the team before execution \- Record decisions and update the status of each construction project \- Supervise pre-assembly, delivery quality, and delivery organization \- Conduct weekly meetings with management to report progress, delays, and forecasts DAILY ROUTINE Start of day: Review the production schedule, define priorities, and check pending items. Factory floor: Speak with each team to confirm what will be produced that day. Midday: Verify actual progress and update the production schedule. End of day: Record completed items, blockers, and priorities for the next day. REQUIREMENTS \- Practical carpentry experience (factory floor, installation, or custom furniture production) \- Ability to read and interpret carpentry drawings \- Basic knowledge of sheet layout and assembly logic \- Organized, communicative profile with a problem-solving attitude \- Ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously \- Teamwork skills with technical respect and active listening \- Experience in production control or team supervision (preferred) ADDITIONAL ASSETS \- Prior experience as a supervisor in carpentry or civil construction \- Familiarity with project management tools (spreadsheets, construction apps) \- Knowledge of high-end custom-built furniture processes EMPLOYMENT TYPE CLT. Full-time. WORK HOURS Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. IMPORTANT This is an on-site position in Campo Magro, PR. Daily commuting to the company is mandatory.
