Description
Responsible for delivering predictive maintenance and lubrication activities, ensuring proper management of resources and the team under their supervision. Responding to and managing urgent situations, inspecting process-critical equipment, safeguarding the collective work environment within the maintenance department, and performing other related and inherent duties.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Lead the execution of scheduled service orders and checklists defined for the lubrication and predictive maintenance teams by monitoring the team’s performance and addressing any difficulties that may arise during their shift while carrying out planned activities, maintaining constant communication with the supervisor to resolve issues and complete tasks;
* Actively participate in identifying root causes of maintenance rework, as well as in defining actions to reduce recurrence of interventions and increase asset reliability;
* Monitor maintenance execution on unit assets and implementation of construction works, aiming to ensure full functionality and effectiveness;
* Stay updated alongside relevant departments regarding each team’s shift targets, monitor target achievement, identify causes of deviations, propose improvements for target attainment—including industrial maintenance indicators;
* Inspect equipment operation, verifying each activity to ensure proper performance and sustained functional operation;
* Validate team activities under their supervision, including confirming service completion and releasing service orders for approval; additionally, request corrective action from the maintenance team for any deviations occurring during execution—such as insufficient quality or inadequate workplace cleanliness and organization;
* Analyze spare parts requisitions for industry, informing the relevant department and justifying procurement needs with data-supported evidence;
* Coordinate maintenance requirements and other administrative procedures, such as emergency material withdrawals from the warehouse, employee transportation, etc.;
* Ensure proper care of shared maintenance infrastructure and execute the cleaning schedule;
* Perform job-related activities in strict compliance with all organizational safety, health, and environmental work standards and procedures, consistently using all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) required for job and departmental activities; responsible for immediately reporting to their direct supervisor any activity posing a risk to their own or colleagues’ health;
* Carry out duties in alignment with company values, policies, guidelines, procedures, and processes, always focusing on organizational goals and maintaining confidentiality and protection of company information;
* Maintain discipline in the 5S program, aiming for safe work through workplace organization, standardization, and cleanliness;
* Safeguard company property under their responsibility and promptly report any problems or damage detected to their direct supervisor.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields;
* Knowledge of Maintenance Process Management tools and PCM;
* Experience in basic, preventive, and predictive maintenance; vibration analysis; thermography; laser alignment; costs and budgeting.
