Job Summary: Performs assembly, adjustment, and preventive and corrective maintenance on rotating and transportation machinery and equipment, preparing relevant reports. Key Highlights: 1. Opportunity to apply knowledge in industrial mechanics RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assemble and adjust machine components and power transmission elements such as gears, bearings, bushings, couplings, rotors, and shafts, according to training knowledge, using specialized techniques, tools, and available documentation; * Assemble and align rotating equipment such as pneumatic blowers, process fans, and electric motors; * Perform maintenance on transportation equipment such as rotary kilns and coolers, cooling towers, centrifugal pumps, gear pumps, compressors, speed reducers, blade conveyors, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, and bucket elevators; * Prepare, upon implicit or explicit request, reports relevant to performed activities; * Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, replace damaged components, and conduct operational testing; participate in work teams related to safety, environment, quality, among others. REQUIREMENTS * Completed High School; * Technical Course in Mechanics or related fields; * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; * Knowledge of Industrial Mechanics; * Relevant work experience. DESIRABLE * Ability to interpret mechanical drawings; * Knowledge of and experience in maintaining centrifugal pumps; * NR 35 – Work at Heights; * NR 33 – Confined Space; * NR 12 – Safety in Machinery and Equipment Operations. Work Schedule: Administrative hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 1-hour break. Availability outside administrative hours, on weekends, and holidays is required. (Emergency calls or unplanned shutdowns may occur outside regular working hours.) Temporary contract for 90 days.
