Job Summary: As a Materials Assistant, you will support receiving, inspection, and material handling activities, ensuring safe and timely availability of materials to internal and external customers. For this reason, we transport, store, and manage domestic and imported materials and components required for our customers' projects and systems. As a Materials Assistant, you will support various routines aimed at safely and ergonomically ensuring the right materials are available to internal and external customers at the appropriate times, following established procedures. A typical day as a Materials Assistant may include: ***Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** 1\. Perform routines related to material receiving, physical and system/electronic inspection, and ERP inventory balance updates via invoice entry, meeting operational requirements. 2\. Request material withdrawals by scheduling with transportation companies. 3\. Support monthly inventory processes through physical verification and barcode-based tracking. 4\. Assist in physical and electronic material movements using the ERP inventory module. 5\. Support updating performance indicators related to the activity. 6\. Apply and promote SEL’s values, SEL’s Operating Principles, and World-Class Manufacturing Principles. 7\. Continuously understand, create, and simplify processes. 8\.
