That’s what makes Konecranes a unique place to work.* We are seeking a Logistics Operator I to assist in various activities including receiving, inspection, inventory management, picking and shipping of parts or materials, loading parts and equipment for customers, safeguarding the integrity of parts and materials, and meeting production schedules within delivery timelines, production lead times, quantities, costs, and predefined quality, while adhering to safety and environmental regulations. Job Description * Clean and organize the workplace, properly storing materials in accordance with company standards. * Conduct item inventories by location using designated forms and following company procedures and rules. * Prepare material movements by interpreting work orders and visually inspecting loading and unloading operations. * Receive and inspect parts, packaging, and materials received or to be shipped, cross-checking data on work documents, verifying quantities and quality of parts and/or materials, and storing them on shelves. * Inspect and label materials using the inspection manifest and distribute them by code for availability to destination departments or storage in warehouses. * Organize cargo by interpreting hazard symbols on packaging or cargo, and load it onto transport vehicles according to specifications. * Move materials within the PDI and shipping areas. * Operate forklifts (gas, electric, and telescopic), pallet jacks, and manual pallet trucks to transport, load, and unload materials and parts across various departments, always complying with company safety standards. * Perform picking—the movement of parts into and out of warehouse shelves. * Maintain, clean, and ensure proper operation of forklifts and pallet jacks; check oil levels and request maintenance or refueling as needed. * Maintain and clean tools and materials used, and wear required PPE for shipping and logistics tasks. * Verify invoices against purchase orders. Access ERP/Datasul systems to obtain technical information (e.g., bill-of-materials lists, shipping manifests, etc.). * Package parts received from production. * Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards related to work processes, quality management systems, environment, health, safety, and labor legislation; safeguard organization, custody, security, and confidentiality of documentation under your responsibility; and maintain a clean and organized workplace. * Perform other related duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor.
