A professional responsible for adjusting, assembling, and repairing mechanical components in various types of machines and equipment.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to understand component specifications and assembly requirements;
* Adjust, assemble, and disassemble mechanical parts, ensuring proper fit and function according to specifications;
* Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment to avoid failures and extend operational service life;
* Perform corrective maintenance by identifying and rectifying defects;
* Operate hand tools and machines such as lathes, milling machines, drills, and grinders for adjustments;
* Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators to ensure parts meet tolerance and technical specifications;
* Perform metal cutting and welding as required, using appropriate techniques and tools;
* Assemble complete mechanical units, ensuring all parts are correctly adjusted and functioning properly;
* Conduct tests on machines and equipment after adjustments to ensure proper operation;
* Maintain detailed records of performed activities, including service reports and technical documentation;
* Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other professionals to solve complex problems;
