Job Summary: Stoneridge is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer to participate in the definition and implementation of technological solutions, developing hardware for new products and improvements, and serving as a technical reference. Join the Stoneridge Team as we continue to build upon our strong history and reputation for quality products to deliver innovative products and systems that address a need, exceed our customers’ expectations, and motivate our team. **Responsibilities:** * Participate in the definition and implementation of technological solutions, contributing ideas for new products, improvements, and updates. * Define and support the development of concepts and technical specifications, contributing to feasibility analyses (schedule, cost, risk, and quality). * Develop hardware for new products and improvements to existing ones, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. * Select electronic components and define architectures and circuits collaboratively with the team, considering performance, cost, and technology. * Monitor testing and certification processes, analyze failures, propose corrections, and contribute to continuous improvement. * Track market trends and emerging technologies applicable to our products. * Serve as a technical reference, supporting team development, sharing knowledge, and participating in recruitment processes. **Additional Activities:** * Contribute to a collaborative and productive work environment. * Comply with internal policies related to quality, safety, environmental protection, and organizational conduct. * Perform other related duties as required by the department. **Requirements:** * Minimum of 8 years of experience in product development. * Experience in hardware development and printed circuit board (PCB) design. \#LI\-AM1
