Job Summary: Safely operate forklifts to transport materials and organize inventory, collaborating with teams and adhering to regulations. Key Highlights: 1. Operate forklifts to move, stack, and organize cargo. 2. Perform daily inspection checklists and maintain equipment. 3. Collaborate with logistics, production, and shipping teams. **Primary Responsibilities** * **Operate forklifts** (electric, LPG, or combustion-powered) to move, stack, and organize cargo. * **Safely load and unload vehicles** (trucks, trailers). * **Transport pallets and materials** between production, storage, and shipping areas. **Operational Responsibilities** * **Conduct daily inspection checklists** for forklifts (oil, tires, brakes, forks, lights, etc.). * **Maintain the equipment in good condition and proper working order**. * **Record mechanical or safety irregularities** and report them to maintenance. **Safety** * **Operate in strict compliance with safety regulations** (e.g., NR\-11 and NR\-12 in Brazil). * **Ensure proper stacking and securing of loads** to prevent accidents. * **Remain vigilant regarding pedestrians, aisles, and workplace signage**. **Inventory and Logistics Control** * **Identify products by code or label** (e.g., barcodes or RFID). * **Organize materials according to storage criteria** (FIFO, LIFO, etc.). * **Assist with physical inventory counts** when required. **Collaboration and Support** * **Collaborate with logistics, production, and shipping teams**. * **Support operational tasks outside forklift operation**, as needed (e.g., warehouse organization, order picking). **Commitment and Punctuality** * **Adhere to schedules and productivity targets while ensuring safety**. * **Participate in mandatory job-related training and updates**.
