We are looking for a **Fiber Optic Maintenance Operator** to carry out activities related to maintaining our fiber optic network, including conducting vehicle inspections prior to commencing work, identifying the need for vehicle maintenance (which may involve monitoring maintenance execution and vehicle washing). Additionally, handling G\-PON network equipment in Data Center racks.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Embody the organizational identity of the Brisanet Group;
* Actively participate in organizational meetings and commitments when requested;
* Use individual and collective safety equipment when required;
* Drive company vehicles when necessary;
* Perform other duties related to the position, as needed by the department and per leadership direction;
* Maintain company vehicles in compliance with Fleet Management-defined processes, ensuring proper functionality;
* Implement workplace safety procedures, such as APR \- Preliminary Risk Analysis and use of PPE, in accordance with current legislation;
* Conduct vehicle inspections before starting daily activities, identifying the need for vehicle maintenance, which may include monitoring maintenance execution and vehicle washing;
* Consistently utilize daily demand management systems, such as APR \- Preliminary Risk Analysis, among others;
* Handle electronic equipment such as power meters, fusion splicers, OTDRs, etc.;
* Perform fiber optic cable laying, fusion splicing / connectorization;
* Conduct OTDR testing to locate potential fiber fault points;
* Assemble distribution and optical termination point structures (DGOs, DIOs, PTOs);
* Handle G\-PON network equipment in Data Center racks;
* Manage inventory and storage of materials under one’s responsibility.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed high school education;
* Basic computer skills;
* Knowledge of networks and computer maintenance;
* Familiarity with local geography;
* Driver’s license "B" and defensive driving certification.
**Preferred qualifications:**
* 6 months of experience in telecommunications;
* Willingness to travel;
* Knowledge of access transmission technologies and media — twisted-pair cables and fiber optics;
* Router and signal repeater configuration;
* Structured cabling;
* Customer service techniques.
