That’s what makes Konecranes a unique place to work.* We are seeking an Assembly Mechanic II whose mission will be to perform the mechanical assembly of electric hoists, motors, gearboxes, and overhead crane components in accordance with production order drawings, while observing safety and environmental regulations. **Job Description** * Move parts to be assembled using overhead crane operation. * Prepare the assembly process by verifying the received materials list, reviewing drawings and other data to support planning and organization of activities. * Perform mechanical assembly and installation of other overhead crane components as specified in production order documents. * Conduct self-inspection of operations, including visual inspection and functional testing of equipment. * Record information related to performed services in designated reports (e.g., production hours, mechanical and electrical tests and inspections). * Prepare and verify materials for shipment per factory documentation. * Assist with other tasks as needed (e.g., loading/unloading trucks, organizing and moving materials, receiving and shipping parts, etc.). * Comply with company policies, procedures, and/or regulations relating to work processes, quality management systems, environment, health, safety, and labor legislation; safeguard the organization, custody, security, and confidentiality of documentation under one’s responsibility; and maintain a clean and organized workplace.
