Logistics Supervisor

Description

We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor to join our team. Based in Sorocaba, Brazil, you will be responsible for supervising and controlling the activities of receiving, storing, registering raw materials and shipping finished goods, organizing and guiding the services to be performed for packaging materials in stock and in loads, in order to guarantee the flow and delivery time and meet sales targets, in accordance with production plans, standards and procedures. 1\. Manage and control the activities of receiving, storing and registering raw materials, controlling stocks and forwarding replenishment needs. 2\. Manage and control the shipping activities of finished goods, monitoring and guiding the correct packaging of materials in stocks and in loads, ensuring the physical integrity of the products. 3\. Provide support to the Commercial area regarding delivery times for finished products. 4\. Control logistics indicators, such as productivity, costs, safety, environment, etc. 5\. Manage transport providers and freight, storage of finished goods and raw materials. 6\. Lead physical inventory of stocks, together with areas involved in the process. Ensuring contracted accuracy. 7\. Provide guidance on checking products to be shipped and the content of invoices and legal documentation. 8\. Management (Receiving/storing) of Chemical Products, when working in the operational area. 9\. Management, sale/disposal of scrap waste. 10\. Ensure safety in loading and unloading activities of materials, as well as communicating the need for specific work authorization to the HSE. 11\. Continuously improve processes, through innovations and good practices. Who are we looking for?
