Job Summary: Professional required to operate and program CNC Lathes and Machining Centers, with emphasis on optimization, quality control, and continuous improvement. Key Highlights: 1. Focus on continuous improvement and preventive equipment maintenance Responsibilities: * **Setup and Operation:** Perform full setup of CNC Lathes and Machining Centers, focusing on optimizing setup and cycle times. * **Programming and Adjustments:** Execute manual programming, data entry, and program corrections directly on the machine control. * **Tooling Management:** Conduct tool presetting, selection, and continuous adjustment of cutting parameters (feed rate, spindle speed, coolant) to maximize insert and tool life. * **Quality Control:** Perform advanced reading and interpretation of technical drawings, and conduct dimensional inspection of parts directly on the machine (self-inspection). * **Production Management:** Monitor the machining process, complete Production Orders (POs), and record efficiency data (good parts, scrap, and downtime). * **Continuous Improvement:** Propose improvements in workholding methods, machining strategies, and participate in preventive equipment maintenance. **Requirements (Mandatory):** * **Proven Experience:** Minimum of 3 years of practical and documented experience in setup and operation of CNC Lathes and Machining Centers. * **Control System Proficiency:** Practical experience with CNC programming languages and controls (Fanuc and Mitsubishi M80\). * **Applied Metrology:** Solid proficiency in handling precision measuring instruments (internal and external micrometers, calipers, dial indicators/probes, gauges, and height gauges). * **Education:** Machining, CNC Programming (SENAI or equivalent institution), or industrial apprenticeship in the field. **Preferred Qualifications:** * **Complex Materials:** Practical experience machining difficult-to-machine materials, high-hardness materials, or special alloys (e.g., Stainless Steel, Superduplex F55, Inconel, or Titanium). * **CAM Software:** Basic or intermediate knowledge of computer-aided manufacturing software (Hypermill). * **KPI Culture:** Familiarity with production control routines, strict time tracking, and completion of shop-floor management spreadsheets. * **Maintenance:** Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), including daily checks of soluble oil, lubrication, and technical cleaning of machines.
