Job Summary: Portuguese Language Teacher responsible for delivering classes, developing lesson plans and pedagogical activities, monitoring students' progress, and collaborating with the educational team. Key Highlights: 1. Deliver classes and develop pedagogical lesson plans for the Portuguese language subject. 2. Monitor students' progress and foster a stimulating learning environment. 3. Collaborate with the educational team on interdisciplinary projects. * Deliver classes for the Portuguese language subject or another subject matching the candidate's academic background and profile. Develop lesson plans and pedagogical activities. Monitor students' progress and foster a stimulating learning environment. Attend pedagogical meetings and extracurricular activities. Collaborate with the educational team in designing and implementing interdisciplinary projects. Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning at the school. Weekly planning preparation. Grading assessments, notebooks, and assignments. Data entry and submission of grades. Project development. Preparation of individual student reports. Designing activities for students requiring remedial support and referring them accordingly. Development of teaching resources. Assignment grading. Preparing and delivering classes. Returning student agendas. Daily attendance tracking. Submitting reports to the Academic Coordination. Referring students with difficulties to the Academic Coordination. Teaching in alternative settings (experiential learning). Designing and mapping diagnostic assessments and identifying solutions to address students' difficulties. Preparing parent-teacher meetings with interactive elements (photos, videos, etc.) as requested by coordination. Requesting materials and printouts. Participating in training courses. Participating in events. Attending monitoring, instruction, and feedback meetings. Participating in class councils. Attending academic coordination meetings. Creating classroom displays. Organizing celebrations and events. Adhering to scheduled timetables and rotation schedules. Designing lesson plans that spark students' interest in learning. Assuming full classroom responsibility—including lesson planning, test creation, class delivery, participation in pedagogical project development, and supporting the smooth execution of educational initiatives. Entering grades and other data into digital platforms. Performing other duties as required. * Bachelor's degree in Portuguese language education. Proven experience as a Portuguese language teacher. Solid subject-matter knowledge and practical application skills. Postgraduate degree in Education (preferred). Experience with innovative educational projects. Proficiency in using technological resources for teaching.
