**About the Position**
We are seeking a Senior Database Analyst with strong experience in SQL development—especially **PL/SQL**—to directly contribute to building and evolving business rules implemented in the database.
This person will play a key role in calculating complex rules, maintaining critical routines, and collaborating with clients to refine requirements and propose efficient technical solutions.
**Responsibilities**
* Experience in SQL development (solid expertise in **PL/SQL**)
* Work with **Oracle and/or PostgreSQL**
* Create procedures, functions, triggers, and packages
* Develop advanced queries and performance optimizations
* Implement and maintain business rules directly in the database
* Perform structured calculations in the database (including parameterized rules)
* Generate reports and structure data extractions
* Participate in alignment meetings with clients to understand and refine requirements
* Propose technical improvements and more performant solutions
**Requirements**
* Completed undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or related fields.
* Minimum of **4 years** of experience as a Database Analyst
* Solid experience in **SQL development (strong emphasis on PL/SQL)**
* Practical experience with **Oracle and/or PostgreSQL**
* Experience creating database routines
* Experience generating reports via the database
* Strong logical reasoning and numerical calculation skills
* Experience working with business rules implemented in the database
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with **Payroll Systems**
* Experience with payroll calculations implemented directly in the database
* Experience with legal regulations and frequent changes to business rules

**Employment Model:** CLT – 100% remote
**Working Hours:** Monday–Friday, 08:00–18:00, with lunch break from 12:00–14:00\.
