Providing individualized care in ICUs and clinical wards Description: * Completed high school education; * Completed technical nursing course; * Active COREN registration; * Intermediate-level computer and Microsoft Office skills. * Perform nursing procedures and care for critically ill patients of the institution undergoing clinical or surgical treatment; * Implement preventive measures for identified risks based on institutional protocols; * Record relevant patient information under one's responsibility to ensure safety and continuity of treatment; * Participate in the surgical process, including verifying the surgery schedule, inspecting the operating room, checking surgical kits, receiving and transferring patients to the operating table, implementing pre\-operative precautions, setting up the operating table, assisting during surgery, transferring patients to the post-anesthesia recovery room, and preparing the operating room for the next surgery; * Organize the anesthesia process in operating rooms, including arranging materials, anesthetic medications, and necessary equipment; transferring patients from stretchers to the operating table; assisting during anesthesia administration; and participating in anesthesia management for cardiac surgery patients, which requires specialized care, time, equipment, devices, and medications; * Provide individualized care to critically ill patients admitted to ICUs or clinical wards; * Collect and/or forward laboratory tests ordered by physicians; * Verify medical and nursing prescriptions, affixing signature and official stamp; * Assist in performing medical procedures such as chest drainage, bronchoscopy, endoscopy, colonoscopy, intracath insertion, etc., by assembling required specific materials to stabilize hemodynamic parameters; * Instruct visitors during visiting hours regarding hand hygiene and its importance in preventing infections among patients under one's care; * Monitor material and medication expenditures and validity periods to prevent waste; * Assist nurses and/or physicians in performing invasive procedures and supply necessary materials; * Work in critical areas, providing care to patients with higher severity levels and those using invasive devices; * Check and replenish supplies at ICU bed panels, such as gauze, catheters, suction equipment, sterile gloves, Ambu bags, etc.; * Inspect trays prepared for emergency procedures, date them, and restock missing items; * Inspect the emergency cart and test the defibrillator daily; * Perform other duties as required or at the discretion of the unit nurse; * Admit patients to the unit together with the nurse, receive admission forms and medical records, escort patients to their beds, identify them, and identify their medication bins; * Participate in shift handovers bed-by-bed, communicating important information to colleagues alongside the entire nursing team; * Participate in planning nursing care; * Actively participate in the risk management program to avoid errors and harm to patients under one's care; promptly report any issues to the responsible nurse, implement interventions to minimize risk, and document actions in prescriptions; * Perform all nursing actions except those exclusively reserved for registered nurses, per the General Nursing Procedures Manual; * Participate in patient discharge planning, jointly with the nurse, providing guidance to patients and companions regarding care and devices, if needed. * Verify ideal conditions for patient transfer during pre\-operative preparation for surgeries; promptly respond to verbal requests or call bell alerts from inpatients; * Safely administer medications, preventing patient harm; knowledge of High-Alert Medications; * Maintain unit cleanliness and report non-conformities to the hygiene department; * Maintain and preserve unit equipment and materials; notify the equipment center regarding needs or removal due to disuse; * Keep patient medical records and documents organized; * Notify the nurse regarding equipment repairs, maintenance, or shortages in the unit; * Participate in defining the daily individual material requisition for patients. 25122502024944230
