Ready to join our team?** **Work model:** Remote **Position to work on the Global Analytics \& Data Science team** **WHAT YOU WILL NEED** * Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field. * Solid experience in data science/analytics. * Experience building visuals with tools like Power BI or Tableau (plus matplotlib/ggplot). * Proficiency in SQL and either Python or R for data manipulation and analysis. * Comfort with GitHub and/or collaborative development workflows. * Fluency in English; strong written and verbal communication skills. **IT WOULD BE A PLUS IF YOU ALSO POSSESS PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN:** * Experience working on cross\-functional teams (IT, operations, analytics). * Exposure to cloud platforms and data lake/lakehouse environments (e.g., Azure/Fabric, Databricks). * Familiarity with MLOps concepts (environments, packaging, basic CI/CD). * Experience applying agile methods to data product work. * Data science or analytics certifications (nice to have, not required). * Familiarity with ML libraries (e.g., scikit\-learn, XGBoost) and sound understanding of train/validate/test practices. **️****PURPOSE** The Data Scientist joins Sylvamo’s Data \& Analytics Center of Excellence to support data\-driven initiatives across the business.
