Job Summary: The Classroom Assistant will welcome and supervise students, correct assignments, take notes, and plan studies at a Kumon Learning Center. Key Highlights: 1. Affinity for working with children and teenagers Classroom Assistant at a Mathematics and Language Learning Center in Jurerê — Kumon teaching method The Center offers mathematics, Portuguese language, and English language studies for children and teenagers using the Kumon teaching method. Responsibilities: - Welcoming students at the Center, checking homework completion, correcting assignments, and assigning grades to materials. - Supervising students while they complete the day's assigned study activities. - Taking notes on study records. - Collaborating with the instructor to plan each student's study schedule. - Organizing the classroom at the end of the day. - Answering phone calls and providing reception services as needed, including information about courses and the unit's operations, among other duties. Requirements: - Must have affinity for working with children and teenagers. - Must be available during morning and afternoon shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. - Minimum requirement: basic knowledge of English, Portuguese, and mathematics; or discipline/determination to learn these subjects. Employment Type: Full-time CLT Salary: R$1.980,00 – R$2.700,00 per month Benefits: * Transportation allowance
