Description: Qualifications: Completed undergraduate degree in Mathematics Education Preferred: Postgraduate degree * Develop annual, semester, and quarterly curriculum plans aligned with reference frameworks (BNCC, ENEM, and PAS/UnB) and structured with efficient pedagogical practices to foster the competencies required for students’ holistic development. * Systematically record, monitor, and report to the Pedagogical Coordination any inappropriate student behavior or concerning situations observed during classes, as well as issues related to grade recording, taught curriculum content per class, attendance, academic performance, punctuality, and assiduity—thereby contributing to improved teaching quality and personalized learning. * Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons that integrate subject content with the Unit’s pedagogical project, and evaluate outcomes of planned activities to measure the percentage of students achieving favorable academic results. * Participate in continuous professional development, collective coordination meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and class councils; respond to and engage in dialogue regarding each student’s academic progress. * Comply with requests from School Administration, Educational Guidance, and Pedagogical Coordination related to teaching duties, always considering the educational network’s mission. * Monitor and guide students experiencing learning difficulties, and refer them appropriately to Educational Guidance to mediate, facilitate, and articulate knowledge—providing students with mechanisms to support their academic development. * Develop physical and digital teaching materials and assessments that value students’ potential, along with evaluation instruments consistent with Unit guidelines and established deadlines. * Deliver both in-person and remote lessons (online classes, live streaming), utilizing digital platforms, and distribute teaching materials/assessments via designated platforms—ensuring accessibility for all learners in alignment with the discipline’s defined pedagogical activity plan and scheduled academic calendar. * Design and administer tests, exams, and other standard assessment tools aligned with competencies outlined in the pedagogical plan, thereby supporting student development and learning, and verifying the effectiveness and impact of adopted teaching methods. * Collaborate with the pedagogical team to establish recovery strategies and propose content review activities to reinforce previously taught material, maximize knowledge retention, and overcome difficulties identified in assessments. * Systematically assess class and individual student performance, documenting observations in reports to jointly develop recovery strategies with the Pedagogical Coordination and/or Educational Guidance. * Attend meetings with guardians, offering individual consultations regarding students’ pedagogical development, and return corrected assignments to enable guardians to track learning progress. * Systematically record student attendance, discipline, academic performance, and lesson content delivered in each class within the class journal, for monitoring and evaluation by the Pedagogical Coordination. * Create and implement diverse classroom pedagogical materials—including tests, essays, mock exams, and varied activities—that explore competencies outlined in the pedagogical plan, promoting student development and learning. * Maintain classroom order and discipline, and implement and manage in-class mechanisms encouraging students to think critically and research topics related to lesson content—thus ensuring effective implementation of the pedagogical plan and supporting students with special educational needs. * Collect and interpret data from internal and external assessments using the Unit’s management system, spreadsheets provided by coordinators, and government agencies—to facilitate planning and, if necessary, replanning. * Define, at the school level, curriculum objectives appropriate for each grade level based on preliminary analysis of class profiles and relevant legislation—ensuring compliance with mandated legal requirements. * Define and apply assessment methods consistent with the Unit’s theoretical reference framework and external assessment matrices (e.g., ENEM), preparing students for various selection processes. * Actively participate in knowledge fairs held within the Unit, guiding students in developing and presenting projects to ensure event effectiveness and support the teaching-learning process. * Guide students on the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), when required, to ensure their safety during proposed activities. * Teach, construct knowledge, stimulate critical thinking, provoke reflection, and serve as a mediator and motivator in the Unit’s teaching-learning process. * Promote pedagogical versatility and continuously update professional knowledge related to teaching practice, employing diverse didactic resources and teaching strategies—including planning and delivering technology-enhanced lessons aligned with the Unit’s educational guidelines—to make learning meaningful for students. * Perform other duties of similar nature and complexity associated with the organizational environment. 2511270202401833731
